One year ago today-a miracle took place

On March 29, 2006, a miracle took place in Lian Jiang City, Guang Dong Province-China. An angel from God found our baby girl and brought her to a safe place. I will never know why Maya's birth parents did what they felt they had to do. We do not live in a perfect world and I am not going to judge their actions. However, I will forever be grateful for the gift they have given us.

I truly believe that God was called upon that day and stepped in. He knew this beautiful baby girl deserved a life of love and happiness. We have been chosen to be the ones to give her that love and more. Maya is a survivor!

I ache to hold her and tell her how much she is loved, how special she is and how honored I am to have been chosen to be her mother.

Patrick and I hope to travel in the next 35 days--so close!
