Maya's finding ad arrived today

The ad appeared in the Nanfang Farmer's Daily Newspaper on Oct. 28th 2006. We think she was around four or five months old when this photo was taken. It confirms that she was found on March 29th 2006.

The translated information states that Maya was found in a box, wearing a white tee-shirt. The box was found under a tree out side of the local hospital. She was described as having big eyes, no belly cord--so her birthday date was estimated to be 3/18/06. She weighed approximately 5.5 pounds and was 20 inches long.

This is such precious information. It is how Maya came to be and how she was eventually chosen to be our daughter. I truly belive God watched over her that day and knew she was meant to have a Mom and a Dad and to become a caring, loving person.
